Graveyard Keeper 2 Falling Through the World
Three ways to end up in the wrong layer of the map, all named in the 1.010 changelog: falling through the world after a teleport, sinking into the ground after leaving the Town Warehouse upper floor, and walking through a wall when entering with Gunther.
The three fixes in 1.010 (13 October 2026)
| Trigger | Changelog line |
|---|---|
| Teleporting to the Floating Village | “Fixed falling through the world when teleporting to the Floating Village.” |
| Leaving the Town Warehouse upper floor | “Fixed the Keeper sinking into the ground after leaving the Town Warehouse upper floor.” |
| Entering with Gunther | “Fixed the character walking through a wall when entering with Gunther.” |
What to do if you are in the wrong layer now
- Note the trigger and location, then load a save from before it — a save written after the fall usually stores the broken position.
- Update to 1.010: all three fixes are on the load path or the movement path, so they apply immediately after the update.
- If it still happens on 1.010, report it in-game (button added in 1.006) with the exact entrance or teleport you used — the changelogs show fixes are shipped per location.
Not the same as the Town Warehouse softlocks
Sinking into the ground after leaving the upper floor is fixed, but the Town Warehouse area itself had separate bugs: clipping and stuck spots in the building and vine cellar (1.008) and the dungeon entrance softlock (1.010). Those have their own page.
